I am one of the co-founders of the Confident Drivers website, combining my knowledge of driver training and coaching with my wife Tracey’s experience of stress management and mindfulness, to create a website that offers immediate have access to the most effective stress management techniques to give users the best opportunity to overcome driving anxiety and fears. Each technique has its own page with exercises, audio, and video files, allowing users to trial and choose the ones that work best for them. One size does not fit all! We regularly give talks and presentations to driving instructors on the subject of overcoming driving nerves and worries and also write a monthly article in DIA’s Driver Trainer journal.
It’s great to have a website offering fantastic techniques to assist with the challenges of driving. The website recognises the fact that learning to drive can be stressful and there are strategies to help with this. The website’s name, ‘CONFIDENT Drivers’ is what a learner is aspiring to be, so it’s very positive. The techniques also apply to building general confidence in all walks of life, so useful again.
